My top pick. This song definitely sets itself apart from the pack. The hero here is song writing. The progression and flow of this track blew me away. From this interesting incubus sound to a papa roach, to tones of faith no more. I felt like I was floating through this song. Great use of an ambient keyboard and guitar . No compression problems so I could here the drums completely,. This isn't one smashed out track it moves it travels and I loved it. If it had ended after the melodic interlude I would have been like another average song, but it ends all hard and shit like suddenly they're hardcore. Good showpiece of talent and range right here!

Dude as soon as heard this track I fell in love. Fucking brutal! I dig not only the vocals but the lyrics. Good variety of effects used and a combo nation of metal, and thrash that kept me totally interested. Even the guitar starts with a families riff but is soon taking over and matched really well tempo wise to the drum beats. There's no substitution for a real drummer and this is the perfect example of that. This song stays heavy and crosses genres like a butterfly chasing infant but never gets to crazy fast. I liked the way the drums went crazy while the guitar kept a steady rhythm, the vocals screamed. Parts of the vocals really reminded me of a past

So another favorite genre of mine is this California poppy punk sound. I'm all about the Sum41 blink 182, and Lite, even some SR-71. That's this song in a nut shell. Some great young guts making poppy popular music. It's just strange to find out this sound is coming out of Ohio. Multiple guitars fill the space really nicely. Nice layered sounds with background vocals, strings, and more. I didn't think they got enough umph from the drum track in this recording and the production wasn't perfect, but overall a fanfuckingtastic song

What I think impressed me the most about this bands overall sound was the way they told a complete story through song but made the tracks individual as well. There for me is no denying the guitar is the star, but their ambient moments are what I think totally set them apart from the list. For being self produced this sounds almost to good. The drums are awesome throughout and I know from our interview that most of the tracks started with a lot of painstaking programming. They are first played beat for beat by Rafeal then tweaked to give a more realistic tone. Fucking nailed it.

This is a band filled with talent but making their influences a bit to Appearent. I love the kick off a little guitar right into it. If you took the drummer from megadeath, the guitars from Metallica, and the aging vocals of testament I think it would sound pretty much like this. Don't get me wrong the singer is good, guitarist interesting. It's definitely a song that progresses. The problem for me is that it just progresses to another variation of the above mentioned bands. While I will continue to follow these guys I probably won't be putting this song into my iTunes rotation.

Dude this is the shit right here. Now we're talking my wheelhouse! Great versatile current sounding band. In their overall sound their influences are obvious. I can totally here Faraquet, foo fighters, tool, and at the drive-in, the poppy singing guitar with the primitive drum beats, along with this fanfuckingtastic voice. But we're talking Juggernaut here and this song is a slight diversion from their other tracks. Slightly because we still hear that singing guitar, and everything else but they've slowed it down a touch which gives them this incubus sound that blew my away. Great production, while the drums seem to play more of a back up role in this track the guitar does not. Amazing transitions from song to bridge to chorus. I wish I could describe the vocals better but it's almost like you can hear him holding back a lot of power, there's angst, layers, and perfect pitch and production. For me bans seem to struggle with getting the vocals at the right volume to fit with the song and doing that correctly for me meand the difference between top of the list or bottom. These guys did it right. The only reason I didn't put them at number one was that my first pick had more of a journey to it, but I love this song. My shit right here

I really like the style of this song and the direction that Matthew is heading. Combining folk rock and punk like a white stripes or some thing similar. Admittedly nothing stands out more then anything else but it made me smile. I do love his vocals a lot, but the guitar is in this grey area for me. Not simple enough to spotlight the voice but to simple to stand out its self. Strange chorus lyrics to me, but produced well, with a great stomp beat. I'm keeping an eye on this artist for sure.

This is where everything kind of went side ways for me. There's this weird combination of metal core vocals with this guitar that flows from classic 80s metal to a post hardcore tone. Don't get me wrong I found it incredibly interesting, but its weird to my earballs. I would love to hear Derek's opinion. Lol. Next I have to address a situation that is consistent throughout this list. The band names are driving me INSANE! As someone involved in Google search and rankings, Social media and that end of it I hate when a band comes up with a name only to turn it into an acronym. And with these guys using a contraction. No. Bad band. Also the artwork is causing a disconnect with the actual tone of the band. A hot chick with a wolf face on her head? I would pass before I bothered to listen. I'm glad I didn't in this case, but I'm sure I've missed out on good bands because of bad artwork

Holy shit dude. Now I know where the singer of Jacyl went. Lol. No really is that him. Seriously. My opinion is that Wisconsin doesn't make enough cheese to compete with these guys. I mean come on what your second choice for a band name.. I guess since Coors and Black label were takin already they had no choice but to go with Silver Bullet. I gotta say compete ing for google recognition against a multi million dollar pre existing beer campaign. Not smart. Anyway my opinion about this track. Uninteresting, dated as fuck, and poorly produced. At one point I thought I was actually being hit in the face with a drum stick. Advice. Hmmm there's already a Warrent and since you're obviously not Sebation Boch stop trying for the skid row groupies. I'm gonna go out on a limb her and suggest a different producer and maybe a more acoustic sound. Stop getting drunk before recording and maybe add another guitarist to help fill that sound space. I do have to say that after listening to some of their other tracks they grew on me, but when the song was over I was happiest.

Dude! My ass puckered instantly on this song. I'm not sure why they choose to start out with a big over compressed blast but that part of why they fell in the rankings. This song for me is a straight line to the finish. 80s guitar tone with a death core voice. Talented? Oh yeah! Interesting? Kind of.. The drums ticked me off right away, and like I said there's no real progression. I think this track would benefit from a slowdown guitar solo interlude some layering of vocals, and a real drummer. Clicks are NOT the same thing as a beat. I do love the vocal intensity, and the guitarist is obviously talented but I was waiting for someone to shout out The Trooper or rhyme of the ancient mariner
