Particularly important is the fact that they were able to share the stage with monsters of American metal, DEFILER (during the “I Wanna See You Mosh Tour” – 2013: Ukraine, Russia, Belarus). Also to the achievements of the group can be added the release of the EP “Schizophrenic’s Nightmare” [2012], and the single “The Worst In You” [2013]. Sadly, we forgot to feed Jimmy and now we have no idea where he is...(probably dead) Music's still good though. Right, so imagine this.. On whom should fall the drummer, there were no doubts: Edolo was the right person. After a long search on who should fill the role of bassist, the choice fell on his friend ever, Manuel Mancini. With this training, despite many vicissitudes in the role of rhythm guitarist, the band receives high marks from people who, astonished at the young age of four are charmed by their grit and power. In fact, not later, began to arrive too early successes in regional festivals, such as the 2008 edition of Montorio Rock festival and the 2009 edition of the Festival of Roses In Rose Garden. In the summer of 2010 released the first demo consisting of 3 original songs. In the same year, due to misunderstanding in the band, they melt. After 3 years of inactivity, summer 2013 Wakkos begin to play along with a new lineup, a trio formed by Lawrence on bass and vocals, Francis on guitar and drums Edolo. Do not waste time and recorded two new tracks that will complete the demo began in 2010. In addition, they try to gain acceptance of the project to record an EP by Musicraiser. They succeed and a budget set at 600 €, anticipatamenteil reach their goal. 2014 is the year that establishes the definitive return of Wakkos to the music scene. We happened on the same day John on one side and Thomas on the other, they received calls from other friends, telling them about a certain Giuliano Sacco and Gerardo Zerbetto who were cited in the basement of Thomas in late October 2009 where they were started! And so the band began to take shape, and function tested as never before worked. The 2010 passed with a wide production of new issues began to accumulate while the idea of releasing an album was brewing in the minds of the members of the band. I love what I do and for so many reasons. I love hanging out once a month with my friends shooting the shit talking tunes and getting a good buzz on, I love the hunt for great and unique music, I really love sharing what I find with our growing global audience and what I have found I love the most is when my efforts are noticed and appreciated by a band we feature. I put in hours of hard work scheduling searching, researching setting up and more. Doing all of this I sometimes forget to come up for air. I do all of this for free and at my own cost and do it because I love music and wanted to create something that would be of being it to more then just me. So this email was more then special to me. During our recording the band messaged us in the YouTube live stream comment section to say that they along with about thirty of their friends had been sitting around a campfire listening and actually agreeing with what was being said by Tony, Nicole, and even myself.
"Thanks for the review. We really enjoyed the different opinions and critiques! We will defiantly take all the advice seriously and work on the production value. You really went to bat for us and that was awesome! You and the crew are welcome to come to any show and hopefully we can sway some minds. I’ll keep you posted , I think we headline Curtain Club in Aug, it would be awesome to see you guys out there ( Free of Course) Thanks again for the amazing opportunity and hope we can be a part of the show again"!

Here is a copy of my very official show notes. Sorry about the delay, luckily it's been crazy up in here and there has been little time for Copy/pasting. Lol join us every Monday at www.jarcodes.com for even more fun and action. On The Unsigned Countdown 1. In the Middle of Nowhere By: Increased Distortion Ja-100 Ad-90 Ro-70 To-80 Br-90 (430) From France Find them on Soundcloud My top pick. This song definitely sets itself apart from the pack. The hero here is song writing. The progression and flow of this track blew me away. From this interesting incubus sound to a papa roach, to tones of faith no more. I felt like I was floating through this song. Great use of an ambient keyboard and guitar . No compression problems so I could here the drums completely,. This isn't one smashed out track it moves it travels and I loved it. If it had ended after the melodic interlude I would have been like another average song, but it ends all hard and shit like suddenly they're hardcore. Good showpiece of talent and range right here! 2. Pussy WhIpped By: Rootless Ja-70 Ad-50 Ro-60 To-100 Br-100 (380) From Austria Find them on Soundcloud Facebook MySpace last FM YouTube, rootlessvmc.com reverbnation hypedsound and iTunes Dude as soon as heard this track I fell in love. Fucking brutal! I dig not only the vocals but the lyrics. Good variety of effects used and a combo nation of metal, and thrash that kept me totally interested. Even the guitar starts with a families riff but is soon taking over and matched really well tempo wise to the drum beats. There's no substitution for a real drummer and this is the perfect example of that. This song stays heavy and crosses genres like a butterfly chasing infant but never gets to crazy fast. I liked the way the drums went crazy while the guitar kept a steady rhythm, the vocals screamed. Parts of the vocals really reminded me of a past 3. Rest of Our Days By: Boy Meets World Ja-80 Ad-100 Ro-40 To-50 Br-70 (340) From Cincinnati Ohio Find them on Facebook twitter Instagram iTunes YouTube boymeetsworld.com and on Youtube at our Youtube one channel @jarcodes as our first ever band interview and fan chat. Great guys and that was a great time. So another favorite genre of mine is this California poppy punk sound. I'm all about the Sum41 blink 182, and Lite, even some SR-71. That's this song in a nut shell. Some great young guts making poppy popular music. It's just strange to find out this sound is coming out of Ohio. Multiple guitars fill the space really nicely. Nice layered sounds with background vocals, strings, and more. I didn't think they got enough umph from the drum track in this recording and the production wasn't perfect, but overall a fanfuckingtastic song 4. Penumbra By: Elision of Animus Ja-50 Ad-60 Ro-80 To-90 Br-50 (330) From Portugal Find them on Soundcloud Bandcamp twitter Facebook and not only on their Youtube channel but also on. Ours. Check out YouTube/Jarcodes to hear our exclusive interview with Daniel and Rafeal from EoA What I think impressed me the most about this bands overall sound was the way they told a complete story through song but made the tracks individual as well. There for me is no denying the guitar is the star, but their ambient moments are what I think totally set them apart from the list. For being self produced this sounds almost to good. The drums are awesome throughout and I know from our interview that most of the tracks started with a lot of painstaking programming. They are first played beat for beat by Rafeal then tweaked to give a more realistic tone. Fucking nailed it. 5. The Serpent By: Machinery Ja-60 Ad-30 Ro-30 To-70 Br-30 (280) From Sweden Find them on twitter and soundcloud This is a band filled with talent but making their influences a bit to Appearent. I love the kick off a little guitar right into it. If you took the drummer from megadeath, the guitars from Metallica, and the aging vocals of testament I think it would sound pretty much like this. Don't get me wrong the singer is good, guitarist interesting. It's definitely a song that progresses. The problem for me is that it just progresses to another variation of the above mentioned bands. While I will continue to follow these guys I probably won't be putting this song into my iTunes rotation. Episode 7.25 recording at 9:30 central standard time 6. Juggernaut By: Du Cru Ja-90 Ad-40 Ro-50 To-30 Br-60 (270) From Baltimore Maryland Find them on Facebook twitter MySpace last FM bandcamp YouTube and Soundcloud Dude this is the shit right here. Now we're talking my wheelhouse! Great versatile current sounding band. In their overall sound their influences are obvious. I can totally here Faraquet, foo fighters, tool, and at the drive-in, the poppy singing guitar with the primitive drum beats, along with this fanfuckingtastic voice. But we're talking Juggernaut here and this song is a slight diversion from their other tracks. Slightly because we still hear that singing guitar, and everything else but they've slowed it down a touch which gives them this incubus sound that blew my away. Great production, while the drums seem to play more of a back up role in this track the guitar does not. Amazing transitions from song to bridge to chorus. I wish I could describe the vocals better but it's almost like you can hear him holding back a lot of power, there's angst, layers, and perfect pitch and production. For me bans seem to struggle with getting the vocals at the right volume to fit with the song and doing that correctly for me meand the difference between top of the list or bottom. These guys did it right. The only reason I didn't put them at number one was that my first pick had more of a journey to it, but I love this song. My shit right here 7. Shake it By: Matthew Heller Ja-30 Ad-20 Ro-100 To-10 Br-80 (240) From Portland Oregon Find him on Soundcloud MySpace last FM and hellermusic.com I really like the style of this song and the direction that Matthew is heading. Combining folk rock and punk like a white stripes or some thing similar. Admittedly nothing stands out more then anything else but it made me smile. I do love his vocals a lot, but the guitar is in this grey area for me. Not simple enough to spotlight the voice but to simple to stand out its self. Strange chorus lyrics to me, but produced well, with a great stomp beat. I'm keeping an eye on this artist for sure. 8. Apathia By: Feed 'Em to the Wolves Ja-40 Ad-70 Ro-10 To-60 Br-40 (220) From Britain Find them on Facebook soundcloud YouTube twitter and Bandcamp This is where everything kind of went side ways for me. There's this weird combination of metal core vocals with this guitar that flows from classic 80s metal to a post hardcore tone. Don't get me wrong I found it incredibly interesting, but its weird to my earballs. I would love to hear Derek's opinion. Lol. Next I have to address a situation that is consistent throughout this list. The band names are driving me INSANE! As someone involved in Google search and rankings, Social media and that end of it I hate when a band comes up with a name only to turn it into an acronym. And with these guys using a contraction. No. Bad band. Also the artwork is causing a disconnect with the actual tone of the band. A hot chick with a wolf face on her head? I would pass before I bothered to listen. I'm glad I didn't in this case, but I'm sure I've missed out on good bands because of bad artwork 9. Stop By: Silver Bullet Ja-10 Ad-10 Ro-90 To-40 Br-10 (160) From Yelm Washington Find them on Reverbnation Facebook and silverbulleyrox.com Holy shit dude. Now I know where the singer of Jacyl went. Lol. No really is that him. Seriously. My opinion is that Wisconsin doesn't make enough cheese to compete with these guys. I mean come on what your second choice for a band name.. I guess since Coors and Black label were takin already they had no choice but to go with Silver Bullet. I gotta say compete ing for google recognition against a multi million dollar pre existing beer campaign. Not smart. Anyway my opinion about this track. Uninteresting, dated as fuck, and poorly produced. At one point I thought I was actually being hit in the face with a drum stick. Advice. Hmmm there's already a Warrent and since you're obviously not Sebation Boch stop trying for the skid row groupies. I'm gonna go out on a limb her and suggest a different producer and maybe a more acoustic sound. Stop getting drunk before recording and maybe add another guitarist to help fill that sound space. I do have to say that after listening to some of their other tracks they grew on me, but when the song was over I was happiest. 10. Collections By: Another Day Will Come Ja-20 Ad-80 Ro-20 To-20 Br-20 (160) From Portugal Find them on Facebook twitter MySpace soundcloud and YouTube Dude! My ass puckered instantly on this song. I'm not sure why they choose to start out with a big over compressed blast but that part of why they fell in the rankings. This song for me is a straight line to the finish. 80s guitar tone with a death core voice. Talented? Oh yeah! Interesting? Kind of.. The drums ticked me off right away, and like I said there's no real progression. I think this track would benefit from a slowdown guitar solo interlude some layering of vocals, and a real drummer. Clicks are NOT the same thing as a beat. I do love the vocal intensity, and the guitarist is obviously talented but I was waiting for someone to shout out The Trooper or rhyme of the ancient mariner Jason Roeseke Attachments:

Here's a copy of the very official and Top Secret show note for August. Here you go. The very official and top secret August Recap recording show notes and schedule. Everything will go much smoother if you just submit to the process. LOL. START EPISODE 8.25 10. SteamRoller By: Supernaut72 From California U.S.A Find them on Soundcloud JR-20 KV-30 AG-20 JF-10 TL-20 (100) Pass to Dr. Vidner This self proclaimed Heavy groove sound is being created by a guitar and bass duo. They are looking to collaborate and I think they are a prime example of a band that would be good for that. This track had some definate stand out guitar parts, but if theres only a guitar and bass, why can't I hear moore from that bass. The parts of it I could hear made me want to hear more but it seems to me to many times in heavy songs the bass is buried. Sucks for a bass fan. Reminds me of a Motor head with more vocal effects. Over all this tune stayed flat sounding. While their other tracks do not. There is talent here for sure I can't wait to here their improvement, but this track was a good idea that needed more of something. After putting this track into the podcast software. I now officially hate this song. Everything except the drums is so compressed. So on the EQ its like low, but every so often the drum would ping my meter. Question. If this group is two guys. A guitar, and a bass, then why the fuck are the drums hot. Not even all of them. Just here and there! 9. Cloud of Witness By; Cotard Delusion From Portugal Find them on Soundcloud, Bandcamp, Facebook, YouTube, and Last FM JR-10 KV-10 AG-70 JF-20 TL-10 (120) Pass to Adawg A one man band , and another submission from Portugal. This was not my favorite song of the month. In fact I think it was my least favorite, but. lol. I want to offer feedback to someone actually looking for it. I love the ambient sounds strung along in this track. While I thought it was the intro that killed it for me. I appreciate the exploration of sounds that this band uses. Good guitar and transitions. The drums really fit well into the track, The lyrics were mostly not understandable and the vocals went to places that maybe they should not have gone. Overall This bands music is packed with ideas. It's just there is a balance between to much and to little. Keep it up, keep collaborating, and keep exploring. Finally since I don't think any one else will bring it up. I'll say it. Cotard in english is similar to Retard and so while I don't like to pick on band names because they are personal, and already set. It might be worth mentioning. 8. This Moment By: My Hands In Chains From Romania Find them on Soundcloud JR-40 KV-40 AG-10 JF-80 TL-30 (200) Pass to Mordeous So dude. I almost totally hated this song when I first heard it. I added it so that we could talk about it's failures, but While it gives me this uneasy feeling, I am growing to really like it. It's like listening to heavy Metal under water. Was it my favorite? No. I thought for what it was it was way to long. Over six minutes! Shit dude. Good production, and I love the grinding groove guitar. The drums are kind of average and the vocals hit these quick out of tune parts. I'm still torn. Is this a flopping fish or a unique idea that will continue growing like a virus in my head? I'm confused 7. After Work By: Zapruder Point From Cicero Il. U.S.A Find them on Soundcloud, Bandcamp, facebook, Myspace, Reverbnation, Vimeo, Last FM, Twitter, YouTube, and Zapruderpoint.com JR-60 KV-60 AG-30 JF-30 TL-50 (230) Pass to Dr. Vidner This song was the replacement song, so I'm glad to see that it's not at the bottom of the list. Definitely not Metal, Really a simple track that reminds me of a slow Weezer song. For Tony and me it's a hometown artist. I thought that what made this track interesting was the theme. I wondered if the judges ranked it low, but as the weeks went by moved it higher based on that relatability factor. Great music and flow are a major part of music creating, production is also huge, this song had both. It dod lay a little flat for me, but I like a song with subject matter that I can relate to, so if I'm having a shitty week, and all I want to do is go hangout with my buds and have a drink. This song is the shit. So For a guy with a voice and a guitar, I thought He had good tones, good pitch, and a memorable name. 6. Before the Dawn By: An Atlas to Advance From Huntington Beach California U.S.A Find them on Soundcloud, Facebook, Reverbnation, and iTunes (250) JR-90 KV-20 AG-60 JF-40 TL-40 Pass to SUPRISE A one man band created by this eighteen year old phenom. It's an epically beautful song with a full space filling sound. Good progression, and transitions. This kid plays every instrument and does his own vocals. While the drums are an easy drummer program, it's nice. There are definitely production issues, The vocals hit a couple of bumps as they go on, and the drums are a bit buried in the mix. All in all I really appreciate this effort. This song would have benefited from a longer length. There wasn't much build up time, and Johan can tell you what I would think the vocals need more of. Reverb. His other songs tell me that he's a guitarist and a pretty damn good one. SHOW NOTE>>>>>>>>>>>> Why the fuck do you upload your music to a site and then not share the links to it on your fucking facebook page. If you don't have a website your facebook page is your main site. Add your damn links to your about section at least. You only have to do it once and they last forever. When you do upload your music to a site. USE THE SAME GOD DAMN NAME AS IS YOUR BANDS NAME!!! Do the research. Find a name that you don't need to add music or band to the end of. This will be the last month I will ignore this. I'm the social media guy on this fucking podcast and so not saying something makes me look stupid. WRAP-UP BREAK TIMEE START EPISODE 8.75 5. Ms. Direction By: Lemon Party From Suffolk Britian Find them on Soundcloud, Facebook, YouTube, and Myspace JR-80 KV-70 AG-50 JF-60 TL-70 (330) Pass to Tony Kinda cool, super groovy, but kinda boring. I love the little off beats, and the punky vocals. The only real momenys in this track are the sharp guitar tones. It has this empty sound to it, and while I think the sound is current, and I'm a fan of Lemon Party, It's obvious that this was never going to be my favorite song of the countdown. Did you know lemon parties are a thing? I wonder if they picked the band name because of the Lemon Party epidemic or if it was just luck. I mean shit, bands should do a little research before choosing their name. Or have your links clearly posted on your most popular pages. This band among a couple of others were really hard to research, and if it wasn't for google. I would never have even found their Facebook page.while they are on YouTube and Facebook they aren't Lemon Party on them they are Lemon Party band, and I hate when bands end up doing that 4. Watercolors By: Avalar From Philadelphia PA U.S.A Find them on Facebook, Reverbnation, Myspace iTunes, Twitter, and YouTube JR-100 KV-50 AG-80 JF-50 TL-60 (340) Pass to the Adamizer Ballads never do good on this podcast, and poppy ones just die here, but when I heard the way this months list was going, I asked my good friends and former featured artist to make a come back with their track Watercolors. While you might be hearing this track for the first time, I have had this in my iTunes rotation for almost a year now. I can assure you that putting it in yours is a safe bet as well. Theres not a lot involved in this song. It's stripped down but fills the soundspace the same as another song might but by using more. It's so simple that I think it's genius. Perfect vocals with the right amount of effects, with just the piano, and then one burst of energy and epicability. I've been waiting a long time to give these kids the props they deserve. I mean shit. Tell me theres a bad or wrong note any where in this song. You can't. It's a story, a journey, and an emotional rollercoaster that lasts only 4 minutes. BAM! Theres my number fucking one! To me I think it's easier to belch out a wicked straight line metal song then it is to hold back like these guys just did. Thats why all the big guys do a ballad or two. To prove that they can. Thats why they always sell huge. Because it shows diversity and talent 3. Every time I think of You By: Ben Joseph From: London Britain Find him on Soundcloud JR-70 KV-90 AG-40 JF-70 TL-80 (350) Pass to Dr. Vidner well lets do this. We have entered into The Unsigned Twilight Zone. A world in which a metal review podcast reviews a folk song. Good tones, simple understated drums, and a bluesy Flky guitar. What I personally enjoyed was the imagdry behind the lyrics. like a story you might here some where. That being said, let me say that unlike a lot of songs we've featured, this track did not grow on me. In fact the more I heard it the less original it became. My problem is that while I respect talent, and theres no doubt of Bens talent, this style is not what I prefer to listen to a lot. Once in a while sure but I could never sit threw an entire album of it. This is probably the rockenest song he has so if you love folk music check Ben Joseph out on Soundcloud, If not move on. 2. Sex In a Honda By: Written in Stone From New Hampshire U.S.A Find them on Facebook, Soundcloud, and Reverbnation JR-30 KV-80 AG-90 JF-90 TL-100 (390) Pass to Tony Well prepare to hate me now. lol. I didn't care for this track as much as I would have hoped. Strange though because it has all of the ingredients to make for a great band. I'll explain my thoughts here because I'm pretty sure my co-hosts and guest judges have already fallen in love. We featured a band named Behold Triumph. When we did they were considered a Pantera copy cat. This band for me is the same animal, but with way to much going on around the vocals. It seemed that every 50 seconds the song morphed into another song. No break downs no featuring of any one instrument, Which to me says poor song writing. To me it's like every band member is showcasing at once, and that frustrated me. Talented group, Great name, bad ass sound, but just to much of it all at once. SHOW NOTE>>>>>>>>>> When you bands upload your song you're not filling out all of your Meta data. This is the information that travels with your file. When a fan downloads your tune you want them to have a record of your band name, song title, and album artwork. You may need to do this on your software before uploading, but if you don't, your great song will fall into the untitled folder and after a few hundred downloads that fan will have a hard time remembering who you are. 1. A World Apart By: As Shadows Collapse From Missouri U.S.A Find them on Twitter, Facebook, Bandcamp, Reverbnation, Soundcloud, YouTube, Myspace, Last FM, Purevolume.com, Songkick, Vimeo, Tumblr, andAsShadowsCollapse.com JR-50 KV-100 AG-100 JF-100 TL-90 (440) pass to Mordeous right on dude! Written in Stone. You should be taking notes. Shit man. Transitions all the fuck over this track. Dueling vocals, choppy ass guitar work, and brutal drums. You hear the difference between the straight shot to the finish with the Sex in a Honda, and this. It's those little moments when everything stops except for the one or two instruments, Thats the shit I'm talking about. These guys are in the Killswitch catagory with the former features like, Mutiny Within, or When World fail. There is these guitar tones however that left me feeling very eighties metal. Full sound, Sonicly really nice, and a great name to boot. My main problem is that while these guys have their music literally every where, I had to hunt down the links. Even on their official website there is a definite lack of options shown. If I had known they were on Soundcloud I would have followed and shared them much sooner. Show note:>>>>>>>>>>>>€ I've said it before, but an About.Me page is a great tool for the Independent band. Add your bio, links, and even a widget, you can upgrade to a full blown web page by adding your own domain name, and they even throw in a free email address. June show notes
Falling Down By: Mordeous (340) Ad-100 De-70 Ja-100 To-70 From New York Find them on Facebook YouTube revebnation soundcloud and Mordeous.com Pass to Adam Featuring Ep1taph and Acehigher2. What caught my ear first was the mixture of voices. There's an emotion there that I really liked. Great choppy guitar, rhythm and lead. The drums didn't do the usual drum machine thing, but to me the high ranking was in part due to the effects on Jacobs voice. He dialed them back a bit and found a really nice sweet spot. His earlier entree "Superman's not around" was good but sounded like he was singing into a tin can. This song had everything that makes for a great metal tune.
Hanging Around By: Full Moon Radio (290) Ad-90 De-50 Ja-60 To-90 from Olympia Washington Find them on Facebook twitter Bandcamp YouTube soundcloud iTunes amazon and FullMoonRadio .com Pass to Adam I love the driving guitar to kick this song off, and the drums are spot on nice. Good production. It has a retro vibe that reminds me of Hole meets the Cars. Smooth vocals that can slide through notes or yell in tune. This song proves that simple works.
A Piece of Rock & Roll By: Motion Device (280) Ad-80 De-80 Ja-90 To-30 From Canada Find them on Youtube soundcloud Facebook twitter and Motiondevice.net Pass to Derek Love love love this track and I'm not sure why. It's got a basic metal sound. Nothing is a stand out but every instrument is played by band members and not machines. I imagine that it can sometimes be difficult for a musician to play simple, and I wonder if they do it that way to help out the young singer, or if its because every band member is still in their teens. Either way I really enjoyed it. The singer is thirteen and cute as a button. She reminds me of a young Janice and so I'm happy that we got a chance to feature a band that will someday be big. If this is the big inning of Motion Devices evolution I can't wait to hear how they progress. Please stick together. Check out this video!
Sufosia Even in My Darkest Days (280) Ad-40 De-90 Ja-70 To-80 From Zagreb in the Republic of Croatia Find them on Facebook reverbnation MySpace YouTube and Sufosia.com Pass to Derek A bit on the Metallica/Megadeath nose for me, but the guitar drum cobo works really well together. It's got a good progression and killer vocals. What is the guitarist doing late in the song? It's like grind grind high note? I was wondering how exactly that's done. Love the beginning. Puts me in a mosh mood. I would pay to see them live.
Hypnotic Nova's Dance By: Cartoon Theory (240) Ad-30 De-100 Ja-50 To-60 From Limoges France, Madrid, and Sydney Find them on Facebook twitter Bandcamp MySpace soundcloud and got-djent.com Pass to Derek It certaintly doesn't start out like an unsigned countdown feature does it? I'll break it down this way. No vocals had me rank it lower, but I don't really here room for them so that's not really fair. It's got an electro ambient sound that progresses perfectly. To me the stand out instrument has to be the guitar. Clean sounding tempo changes. I wish I new more about playing the guitar so I could offer a review suited to the talent I'm hearing. Love the crunches. For me the keyboards were a little light sounding. They were poppy while other sounds were heavier. Super production. And I'm not sure how I found it but the video for this song is floating out there some where on Youtube and it was awesome! If I can find it again I will added to the blog portion of the countdown show.
Tribulation By: Lions amoung Wolves (180) Ad-10 De-60 Ja-10 To-100 From Slidell Louisiana Find them on Youtube and Facebook Pass to Tony This is one of those really good tracks with really bad production. Classic 4/4 and these guys are fantastic at playing in time. I love the blending of tones through out the song. The drums kick ass and it all seems almost to technical for the easy to listen to sound that it is. I want to say that as far as song structuring and flow are concerned this is a great song that fits into a great list. So the simple faulting in production is all that knocked it low on my list. I'm thinking that this song is a mixing to hot victim. When they fix that they will be mutinywithin reason to regret good!
Society Made Us By: Behold Triumph (170) Ad-70 De-10 Ja-80 To-10 From San Antonio Find them on Soundcloud Pass to Adam Very cool. I'm hearing a rage against the machine. Pantera influence. I noticed the way that the music in general flows along with the vocals. So many times songs aren't like that. It's got a variety of guitar tones tempo changes and even the singer uses more the one style. And it's a great song length. The drums are basic but that's about it. Everything sounds like someone passionate about music making. I can't really knock anything about this song except that it could be a little to on the Patera nose. Great work Alex.
Nose Blower By: Umbrella Assassins (170) Ad-50 De-30 Ja-40 To-50 From Haverhill, Suffolk Britain Find them on Facebook twitter YouTube soundcloud and Bandcamp Pass to Tony It's so simple that its brilliant. GarageBand punk! I love the chunky guitar and bass. Ruff voice, and progression of the entire song. They don't need perfect production with this sound but how it's mixed and mastered sounds good to me. Simple repeatable lyrics with a catchy beat. I didn't now what a nose blower was before I heard this and honestly I'm not sure now, but I dig the song
Obsession Red Blood By: Alchemy Room (130) Ad-20 De-40 Ja-30 To-40 From Torino Italy Find them on Soundcloud MySpace and YouTube Pass to Tony This is the struggle song for me. The song selection process for the show is a complicated process for my judges and me. While we do get submissions rolling in everyday, we all still hunt for songs that we would like featured. We also have the criticly important soundcloud group sometimes I'm looking to throw a wild card in or sometimes I'm trying to add in a band that was featured last year before we adopted our native metal ways. This song I requested months ago, and while I was cleaning up my messages sent a second request. They responded and I added them to the show. As of that point I had still not listened to the song in its full length. I am right now. Boy it's a long song. It takes a long time to set up and progress but it does progress. The singer has a beautiful voice. Great range, and tone. It's a shame she's no longer with the band. I really like the guitar. The bridge is nice and while even the drummer sounds like ges having fun. It all feels like a flopping fish. Simplistic epic didn't work for me. 3minutes in the song takes off and captures my attention but I'm afraid that the average new listener might not wait that long. Make it shorter and bigger. More effects more early drama please.
The Art of Vanishing By: Sickist (120) Ad-60 De-20 Ja-20 To-20 From Midlands Britain Uk Find them on Facebook twitter soundcloud Pass to Adam Great gothic intro right into some heavy ass samples. This track has a real feel to it. But those drums totally ruin the mood. I think without the drums this song would have been a bit higher up for me, but then there's the lack of vocals

sites.google.com/site/jarcodesofficial13/Twitter.com/jarcodeswww.facebook.com/JarcodesWritten by: Jason Roeseke Now finally. The moment that these Top Two heavy weights have been waiting for. The moment that will possibly go down in history as the biggest baddest The Unsigned Countdown Battle royal of all time! North Carolina born and breed Drayton Road against Chicago brewed Maggot Twat. Again please take a moment once you've listened to vote for you favorite band. Maggot Twat's 10 O' Clock Horror Stories was a innovative assault with it's inhaling vocals, Squealing guitar, deadly bass, and a comedic puppet killing it on drums. While Drayton Roads Sound The Trumpets was a epic build up featuring soaring vocals, Great production, and a real feel of a genuine love for making music. Both Bands are worthy of the honor, but which one will you pick as May's winning contender? As always please support every band featured. Thats what this project is all about. Independents also make quality music, and are more deserving of your attention and support.

plus.google.com/u/0/b/112354006263775944947/112354006263775944947/postsJarcodes productions is just another way to support the show. It's a great way to get acquainted with Google+, as well as a great way to find updates on our latest episode. See what Jarcodes has up it's sleeves next here, and +1 us to help us continue to spotlight the great music that we feature each and every month Google Hangout pre-interview set up and tips So let me guess. You've been asked to do an interview with one or more of our hosts, or you would like to. Maybe you have a website that benefits independent or unsigned musicians, maybe you're a former featured artist, or maybe you're a fan that wants to join a fan chat session. By reading the following steps you will be ready and able to not only join us in a Google Hangout, but you will be prepared to host your own hangout. 1. You will need a gmail email address 2. Click any of the above Google links and with that gmail email address set up a Google+ account. It can be as simple of a profile or as extensive an account as you want. 3. Add Jason's personal profile to one or more of your circles start a Hangout. On the side of your profile you will find a row of icons. Scroll down until you find the icon marked "Hangout". Start a hangout by following the steps directed. You will be prompted to install a plugin so that Google hangouts can allow you to access your microphone and or webcam during the hangout. Thats it! Here now is some information that we've gathered for troubleshooting some situations You can not join or host a "live" hangout from a mobile device. IOS as yet is still an impossibility and Android is very complicated. With Macs there are sometimes some issues when joining a live hangout or hosting as well. You may want to test this by creating a test live hangout. For this you will need a YouTube account since the live streams are broadcast onto that platform. If you encounter booting issues don't become frustrated as I did. Simply try downloading Firefox, or Google chrome and logging in to Google+ through one of those browsers As of this moment we when recording do not use webcams so for best audio when in the hangout adust your settings in advance Find the Bandwidth icon at the top right of your hangout. Slide it to the left until your cam is off in settings. Also an icon at the upper right of your hangout. set your default devises to the microphone you plan on using, in and out, Recording Tips A helpful critical tip is when recording in a hangout you need to where some sort of headphones, headset, or even earbuds. If you don't do this ther will be an echo of your voice in the recording Watch your mic distence. when you move away from or towards the microphone there will be a feedback issue also your voice and tone will record inconsistently. Finally on this topic. moving or touching the mic will create a very annoying sound. The better the microphone the better you will sound. Obviously, but you can get a better sound by watching where you record from. If you have walls around you that reflect your voice you can work to solve that by doing whatever works for your situation. Let us know here what you did so that others can try . Thank you, and we hope to be chatting away with you soon

JUNE SHOW NOTES FOR THE UNSIGNED COUNTDOWN UNDERGROUND RECAP SESSIONS EPISODES 5.25-5.75 ( Judge Jason ) 10. Crown of Thorns By: AngelFlayer (190) J-30 D-50 Ad-30 T-30 Al-40 Their from Germany and Sweden you can find them on: Facebook, Soundcloud, Twitter, Myspace,Reverbnation Pass to Derek>>>>>> Top notch drums, great song and lyric writing.. At 2:18 there is a really interesting tempo and sound change which is unique in these types of hard growling tunes, but thats where i would have liked the second singer to be singing. From that point on the song gets lost. I can't here the singer, I can hear the drums, but the guitar gets a little lost in the melody.Things get back on track nicely at 3:55 but thats when they bring in singer #2 and he gets buried in the mix until 4:35. From there on out it returns to the song and all is back to normal. Fade keyboard down in the slowdown, Move the second singer to that part, Take him out of his original place, and find a way to end the song better. 9. Fake Jane Levys By: Jeff Fiorentino (240) J-60 D-40 Ad-40 T-20 Al-80 From Hollywood California Pass to Alan>>>>> Find him on: Facebook, Soundcloud, www.jfrocksguitarlessons.comI don't have a lot to say about this track. If you take out the counting in the beginning it could have been the solo in a Van Halen, Stevie Vai song. Jeff is really good at sounding like other guitarists, So if thats his thing I would suggest finding more influences. As a fan I liked the guitar riffs and the upbeat feel of the song.. As a reviewer I found the symbols very distracting, and I did't appreciate the lack of a real ending. I should be mentioned that since Jeff is a guitar instructor maybe this is one of his lesson plans. 8. Wingless Flight By: Soundblade (240) J-10 D-60 Ad-70 T-80 Al-20 From Romania Find them on Soundcloud, and Facebook Pass to Tony>>>> This song was made for this show. With some advise this song could be epic. First of all the slow down at1:24 should be added as a beginning and end. That would instantly give it that Man o War Defender feel musically. Production was nice, there was a couple of minor issues with voice cracking, but what I want to say to every growling band is this. Think of vocals in these cases as salt and pepper. Leaving one or the other out leaves a meal one dimentional. I say adding a higher pitched singer as backing for the main vocalist will add a full complete song. 7. Tell Me Your Fears By:Mamacecile (250) J-90 D-30 Ad-90 T-10 Al-30 from Barcelona Spain Find him on Soundcloud, Facebook Pass to Adam>>>>> So much to say about this band. Salvador is one of those artists that has been burned like so many others by other bands so he created Mamacecile. I think he's a genius. He was also not only my first Soundcloud follower, my first Facebook follower, but also a feature in the original episodes with Human Creeper. A great guy, and I would consider him a friend. Theres no denying that the song structuring was perfect. So I want to offer the right advise. I think the vocal track is a bit buried, but I think thats because he doesn't have faith in them. They're good. Don't hide them with affects and low track volume. Also I really think this track would benefit from a guitarist like Derek or Savilampi. Adding that dimension would fill the sound space so much more completely. Finally Mamacecile needs needs needs a good producer. The tracks seem to blend causing a muddy sound. Every part is awesome in the song. I love this track, but someone needs to lay those components down in a way that lets each track live and breathe individually. 6. Wicked Ways By: Bazooka Zoo (250) J-100 D-20 Ad-20 T-50 Al-60 From Reno Nevada Pass to: Alan>>>>>>> Find them on: Soundcloud, YouTube, and Facebook Well here it is. The most controvesial song ever featured in The Unsigned Countdown. I want to here from the fans on this one. Go to www.jarcodes.com, soundcloud.com/jarcodes, Twitter with the hashtag Bazooka @jarcodes, and facebook.com/jarcodes to let us know. Did you like this song, and do you think it belongs in our show. I have no idea why this song wasn't closer to the top of our list. My thoughts are that maybe some of the judges didn't think that this song was a genre we should be covering, or I'm missing something major in this song that my more musically educated partners are hearing. Song structure. Perfect. Production. I could only nit pick one small spot. Use of instruments, vocals, lyrics, length, feel, and message were all spot on for me. Thanks for listening to the show, Thank you to Alan for joining us. We'll see you back here in a couple of weeks when we discuss the Top Five, and announce the winner of the month. Anything that you would like to plug Alan? You can also find The Unsigned Countdown on Soundcloud, Stitcher smart radio, and at www.jarcodes.com where you can find everything Countdown. Blog, links, and every past episode is waiting for you there. Break time>>>>>>>> 5. Endless Bottle By: The Day the Sky Fell (260) J-20 D-80 Ad-50 T-60 Al-50 From France and the USA fIND THEM ON sOUNDCLOUD, fACEBOOK, tWITTER,, YouTube, Reverbnation, and at /thedaytheskyfell.get-ctrl.com. Pass to Tony>>>>> Our buddies Travis, and Axcel have teamed up to create The Day The Sky Fell. Brutal fucking track. There is a whole lot of perfect in here for a band that is just getting officially together. Mr. Beaumont is a god! I wouldn't have changed a note guitar wise. Travis is an ace at those vocal styles and the addition of the contrasting voice is great. Good production, with an obvious drum machine or program. My advise is More. Adding a rythm guitar would open Axcel up to be able to do so much more. A real drummer is needed. You can't replace the real thing. . Less. When The second singer comes in I would have liked Travis to go out. 4. Galactic By: New Nobility (290) J-80 D-10 Ad-30 T-70 Al-100 From Sydney Australia Find them on: Soundcloud, Myspace, Twitter, YouTube, Reverbnation Pass to Alan>>>> Love the tempo of this track. It's a poppy sound that would and has been featured on Mtv. Spot on production. I found myself feeling the rythme guitar most of all but I don't have any complaints or real advise to offer. it began how it was supposed to and ended when it should have. I like how the singer went up in keys as the song progressed. Out of all the bands this month I think these guys have the best chance of landing a record deal. Very commercialized. Not much innovation. 3. Da Deuce Doesn't Believr in God part 4 By: Da Small Tragoediaz (300) J-50 D-70 Ad-60 T-30 Al-90 from bulgaria, Germany, and the female guest singer Amoeba is from Great Britan Find them on: Soundcloud, Myspace, Bandcamp, YouTube, Last Fm, and their website Dasmalltragodiaz.com Pass to Derek>>>>> Overall I like it. This is almost a slip thought the crack sort of song. To heavy for pop, and to light to be considered electonica. I like the dueling vocalists, and this band while a variety if constant collaborators, has a definite pedigree. This song still has the feel that something is missing. I think it's the drums. If you listen to like a Ministry you here two drummers. I would have liked a live drummer along with the machine. 2. Ten. O Clock Horror Stories By: Maggot Twat (320) J-40 D-100 Ad-10 T-100 Al-70 from: Chicago Find them on Myspace, YouTube, Reverbnation, ourstage, Facebook, and Twitter Pass to Tony>>>> Best vocals of the Countdown. To all the other singers listening for advise out there. This is how you do it. Best guitar work as well. Almost Primus like which might offend these guys because Maggot Twat is not going for that sound. A completely original sound, Great stage presence, but I'm going to say. It's another obvious drum machine. Are drummers that scarce that bands can't find them? A puppet on drums is ciche on tour but come on. What I think is the best thing about theur sound though, I s the bass stepping up and taking on such a major role. It's like it's a lead guitars role, a bass role and with the drum machine a rhythm role also. To me Spam is the star 1. Sound the Trumpets By; Drayton Road (360) J-70 D-90 Ad-100 T-90 Al-10 from Fayetteville, Tar Heel, and Burlington N. Carolina Find them on Soundcloud, Reverbnation, and Facebook Pass to Adam>>>> reminds me of a band called The Calling. They played like a minute or two in the movie Coyote Ugly and when I heard this song I had brain lock. Trying to remember the movie, and then the song title, finally to the original which lead me to cover. whew. Any way since everyone else has an opinion musically I'll add that social media for an Unsigned band is critical these days and Drayton roads media is all over and very hard to track down for the purposes I needed. Guys you don't need a website as badly as you need one place where everybody is adding links, and bio information. Make it easy for us reviewers and promoters. The "about" section is probably the best and first place we look, if theres no website. Google offers free websites, or about.me would work even better. You don't need any web experience to create a fully informational page. We've got one Thank you. You did great. J-Jason D-Derek Ad-Adam T-Tony Al-Alan (guest judge)
