Yes it's true. The Unsigned Countdown is on the Stitcher smart radio app. We started on Stitcher because of their ease of use and ever growing functionality. Currently we are the only music based podcast on the app, and thats a true source of pride for every team member here at Jarcodes as well as everyone involved with The Unsigned Countdown. Stitcher offers us a worldwide audience and comes ready to download in every app store there is. Phones, Tablets, car stereos, and more. "We have been supporting the unsigned and independent musician for over a year now"says producer Jason"and Stitcher helps us with that perfectly". With the new search feature soon all an artist will need to do is type their bands name into the search bar, and Stitcher will bring them straight to our show. Where The Unsigned Countdown will have links to their sounds already built in to the description portion of the show."Fucking bad ass" Jason adds.
So now you know a bit of why Jarcodes touts Stitcher so much, but I'm sure you want to know why the title is what it is. Lets explain. If every person that listened to The Unsigned Countdown did it using The Stitcher app, our rankings would go up. When our numbers get high enough Stitcher automatically starts promoting us. Top of the list, front page, newsletter type promotion. That would mean being seen and heard by millions of new music lovers. And who will those people be listening to? Our quality Unsigned and Independent Bands.
So It's easy to find easy to use and it helps bring light to independent metal punk alternative and rock. I mean really. You don't think anybody at Jarcodes or The Unsigned Countdown makes any money at all? Do you?Does it seem to you that anybody involved is looking to get famous by doing this podcast? "We all have different reasons for doing this, for me it's about the crap on the radio, in commercials, and basically auto tuning it's self to death" Jason says" I've found a new sound. A new musician, and we will be here to promote them, the Independent artist. we will offer honest advice, and we'll have a fucking blast doing it. Imagine a world where every fan matters, where bands create music that they are proud of, and They keep the money they earned. Shit man. All of that starts with you. Thanks for reading this.
